Role of Youth in “nation building”

It is well known that India is home to a significant proportion of youth of the world today. All the imperialists of the world are eyeing India as a source of technical manpower. They are looking at our boys and girls as a source of talents at low costs for their future super profits. If Indian youth make up their mind and work in close unity with working class people, they can foil the plans of Imperialism. This can be done by giving the political power in their hands. The youth will ensure that there is work for all. They will ensure that what is produced is used for providing adequacy for all members of society. Unfortunately no one is bothered to dream any such vision.
In recent years the world has come to look at India with renewed respect, recognizing a strong and prosperous global power in the world. It is also a future when the famous richness of India’s art, culture, intellectual explorations and spirituals pursuits will begin to show its full glory bringing much success to the troubled spirit of Modern India.
Is it a dream? Yes. Is it an impossible dream? No, it’s not. This can be done by the Youth of Indians. Youth is the spring of Life. It is the age of discovery and dreams. When they dream they dream not only for the good future of themselves but also for the good future for nation and entire humanity. Their dreams take them to stars and galaxies to the far corners of the unknown and some of them like our own Kalpana Chawla pursue their dream, till they realize it and die for it in process.
If any section of the society in any country is most important for change, again it is the young people. Patriotism comes naturally to young people, but they also respond early to the call of Internationalism. Youth hopes for a world free of poverty, unemployment, inequality and exploitation of man by man, a world free of discrimination on the grounds of race, color, language and gender, a world full of creative challenges and opportunities to conquer. These are not just empty hopes. Modern science and technology have brought these hopes out in the reach of realization.
In recent times Terrorism has emerged as one of the gravest threat to peace and democratic policy. Youth are drawn between acts of terrorism. In some cases it is not the terrorism, but a freedom struggle. This is how our neighbors are trying to justify its policy of cross border terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir. Youth organizations should carry out an awareness campaign to expose justification or condoning of terrorism anywhere and under whatever pretext. The youth can play a vital role in the implementation of elimination of terrorism. If the energy, intelligence and resources of youth are fully and properly utilized the country will prosper. The spirit of oneness that prevails in youth must be flowed to every part of the country to stop terrorism and only youth can do that.
Youth have some responsibility towards their country. We need to learn from yesterday and live with hope for a better tomorrow. We can learn from our past how the young warriors shed their blood for the country. Youth and nation have to walk hand in hand. Most importantly, the youth should be honest and hard working. Youth should stand against all the wrong doings in the country. Instead of blaming the system, young India should come together and with their toil should mould our nation for a better tomorrow. We, the youth should use our brains, strength, creativity and imagination to serve our nation. Instead of asking, "Who’s going to fight the corruption?," we should do it ourselves. Rather than fighting upon the issues and ruining the country, we should learn to develop it.
We need to learn from yesterday and live with hopes for a better tomorrow. So we have to do our bit for the nation and be the change that we have always wanted. India can become a developed nation only if everyone contributes to the best of his or her capacity and ability. Youth is wholly experimental and with the full utilization of the talents of the Youth, India will become a complete Nation. Let us hope for the same.

i want to say that yes youth has all the rights to take the leadership of this country and in the coming time our country vl have 70% youth population
but one thing the youth lacks is the desire to work for their country they can say that they can do this, they can do that for country but when time they lack this thing lot of youth didn't know the difference between 15th august and 26th january lot of didn't know who is PM and some well ministers what iam saying i saw a lot on TV specially on the youth focused channel MTV ,when they go for interview in public .i thought youth alone can't handle it they need some experince people with them to go on ....
